Terra Solutions Ltd is able to provide skilled operatives for trenchless projects.  All members of our workforce have received training suitable for the tasks that they carry out. Terra Solutions is able to supply a full range of trenchless labour from Divers to Tally men. 

Safe Working

Foremost to Terra Solutions Ltd is Health and Safety related training.  This may be anything from tool box talks or daily task briefings for day-to-day activities on site to IOSH safety management courses.  The safety culture adopted by the company applies throughout the workforce, from Director to Labourer.  Operatives who are suitably trained will be more productive, will offer useful feedback to management and will be much less likely to be involved in any kind of safety related incident.

Versatility

Our experience with all types of trenchless construction gives our employees at all levels a broad depth of knowledge.  Therefore our employees are more productive, being able to apply their knowledge in a wide range of situations.  Operatives with such diverse skills as slinger/signalman, TBM operator, tracked and wheeled excavator operation, soil separation plant operation, directional drilling operator and ancillary labour, tunnel miner, shaft sinker, microtunneller and tunnel back-up operatives are all available and suitably trained and experienced.

Skills Certification

A multi-skilled workforce is essential to employers.  However, demonstration of those skills before employment commences is often only possible by a suitable certification system.  Terra Solutions Ltd uses the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) and the Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS ) card schemes to prove employees competence and health and safety awareness.  Terra Solutions Ltd also participates in the education of construction workers, one of our Directors being part of the Construction Skills National Working Group which sets the qualifications for Tunnelling operatives.
